About Bowlers Universe

Tom Carter is an Illinois State Hall of Famer. He has been drilling balls for over 30 years. Tom and his wife, Linda owned T-Byrd Lanes in Rochelle IL. for 15 years. They decided coaching and ball drilling was becoming a large part of the their business, so they started Bowlers Universe Pro Shops to dedicate more of their time to help more people.

Tom started coaching in 1986. He has been a PBA member since 1988. He was a member of 5, PBA Resident Pro Teams. He has won two World Team Challenges with Team Brunswick and he was the winner of the Winnipeg open in 1994. He is also a member of the Brunswick Regional Pro Staff .
